Harvest your tomatoes and tie your aprons tight, because Kristin is introducing us to the wacky world of canning, and turns out it’s much more than just putting things in jars.
This episode, Kristin is finally tackling a hobby she’s been meaning to do for years. She's sharing how she got started with canning, the wisdom she’s gained from year one of her canning career, and whether she thinks it’s a good hobby for ADHDers (jury’s still out).
And speaking of tackling, we share a Business Someone Should Start, Just Not Us that’s sure to help the most defiant AuDHDers amongst us tackle their to do lists and possibly develop a gambling addiction along the way. Also, Grace shares a muddy Pizza Secret before an audio problem causes us to cut things short, making Kristin’s Pizza Secret all the more secretive.

Ep. 126: Does Tylenol Cause Autism? No, It Doesn’t.
Welcome, all rapture survivors and fellow heathens! We may have been left behind for our sins, but we might as well try to make things better here on Earth while we can, and it all starts with combatting dangerous medical misinformation spewed forth by the brainworm-addled muppets in charge.
This episode, we’re diving deep into the controversial topic of Tylenol and autism. We’re taking a closer look at the Trump administration’s disingenuous interpretation of the Harvard Tylenol study, discussing the many potential dangers of pregnant people forgoing necessary medications due to fearmongering, reading a long-term study out of Sweden showing a genetic rather than medicinal correlation to autism, and reminding you all that autism is a naturally occurring brain difference and not a disease needing a cure.

Ep. 125: Autistic Anthropology with Tori Pinheiro (Pt. 2)
Huzzah! We’re back with the Jane Goodall of human interactions, Tori Pinheiro, to hear more about her menagerie of neurodivergent traits.
In Part 2, Tori tells us about her traumatic brain injury, the ways it exacerbated her AuDHD needs, and the lifestyle changes she’s made to accommodate her healing brain. We also get into nighttime dance walks, accent mimicry, decision paralysis, relational therapy, synesthesia, and a Pizza Secret that changed the trajectory of Tori’s life and her relationship to paperwork for the better.

Ep. 124: A Crow Offering with Tori Pinheiro (Pt. 1)
Chickens, raptors, and corvids, oh my! This episode, we’re virtually sitting down with local bird woman and Grace’s close friend and grad school roommate, Tori Pinheiro, to chat bird-based hobbies, AuDHD, rat sacks, neurodivergent friendships, stroganoff season, and so much more.
In Part 1 of our conversation, Tori shares about her ADHD diagnosis, why she initially resisted the autism aspect of her AuDHD and what finally changed, how stimulant medication reduced her social anxiety, the internalized shame that comes with being an odd AuDHD child, and the ways she accommodates her sensory needs now (for the sake of herself and everyone around her).

Ep. 123: Lobster Payback
Open your ears and avert your eyes (especially if they’re blue) because we’ve got a juicy Just Segs for your listening pleasure, but only if you promise not to make eye contact with us.
This episode, we’re discussing the privileges of summer babies and calling for more adult birthday parties, sharing some incredibly ADHD and at times death-defying Quirks, learning a horrifying fact about killing lobsters (turns out we’re all doing it wrong), and revealing shameful Pizza Secrets that were, admittedly, a little funny in the moment.
