Culpable Returns - A New SeasonA bizarre mystery has haunted a small town for more than a quarter of a century, but it's not too late to change that. On October 24th, 1998, 17-year-old Danny Violette went missing from his home in the small town of Willard, Ohio. 11 days later, his body was found in a nearby cornfield with a ligature mark around his neck and a tire impression across his bare torso. More than 25 years later, Danny’s case remains unsolved, but a resurgence of interest has provided rare insight into years of investigative work and a chance at finally solving this mystery. Join host Dennis Cooper as he explores unresolved cases where culpability has yet to be established. From Tenderfoot TV, a brand new season of Culpable is available now. Bone Valley Book Announcement
We are excited to announce that on October 8th of this year, Flatiron Books will release, Bone Valley: A True Story of Injustice and Redemption in the Heart of Florida by Gilbert King. The book traces the origins of the Bone Valley podcast, when Gilbert and Kelsey Decker began the project. At the time, they had no idea how vast the story would become—or how to navigate a medium they had never worked in before. They were learning how to make a podcast at the same time that they were uncovering the details of Leo’s case. Along the way, they faced setbacks and breakthroughs—most of which never made it into the series. There are also many witnesses, detectives, attorneys, family members, and investigators whose stories and voices didn’t make it into the podcast—simply because there wasn’t the time or space. In this book, Gilbert and Kelsey are able to go deeper, explore more angles, and bring in scenes that never aired. This is a more expansive version of the story, and in many ways, a more personal one too. The book is available now for preorder at the links below. Bone Valley listeners who preorder the book will be offered exclusive signed bookplates to attach, personalized by Gilbert King and Leo Schofield. If you are in the USA or Canada and want to preorder the book, please use this link: https://read.macmillan.com/fib/bonevalleypreorder-2/ If you want to preorder the book from outside of the USA or Canada, please use this separate link: https://geni.us/BoneValleySee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Introducing - Bone Valley Season 3 | Graves County
In Season 1 of Bone Valley, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Gilbert King tells a story of a man, Leo Schofield, fighting to prove his innocence in the case of his wife Michelle’s murder. In Season 2, “JEREMY” Gilbert King brings us a story about her actual killer, Jeremy Scott, fighting to prove his guilt. The State of Florida does not believe either man. Bone Valley Season 3 | GRAVES COUNTY is a new story about a new case. A story that shares many familiar themes with the first two seasons of Bone Valley - an unspeakable crime, a dubious investigation, half-truths that ensnare innocent people, and heartbroken families caught in the middle. GRAVES COUNTY is hosted by Maggie Freleng, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and one of the hosts of Lava For Good’s Wrongful Conviction and is executive produced by Gilbert King. Maggie is going to take us to a small town in Graves County, Kentucky, where a terrible discovery on the front lawn of a middle school invites a string of amateur and professional investigators to try to solve a murder. Maggie is the latest investigator to get pulled in. And she’ll take all of us along as she teases out this complicated web of rumors and lies, and perhaps even the truth. Bone Valley Season 3 | GRAVES COUNTY will be available every Wednesday beginning July 30 wherever you get your podcasts. To binge the entire season, ad-free, starting July 30, subscribe to Lava for Good+ on Apple Podcasts. Bone Valley is a production of Lava for Good™ Podcasts in association with Signal Co.
