#4 In gesprek met Gino van Dam & Jesse Plum over Verhullen - mentale gezondheid en heling
In deze aflevering zijn we in Flora Filmtheater in Den Haag en gaan we in gesprek over de documentaire Verhullen, een intieme film over heling, mentale gezondheid, de kracht van kwetsbaarheid en kunstenaarschap, tegen de achtergrond van de Haagse nachtcultuur.
Onze gasten zijn filmmaker Jesse Plum en DJ en nachtprogrammeur Gino van Dam, ook bekend als JEANS. Jesse is een autodidact regisseur, met een achtergrond in Bedrijfskunde, die met een persoonlijke en observerende stijl verhalen vertelt over menselijke veerkracht, herstel en identiteit. โVerhullenโ is zijn eerste documentaire. Gino is een sleutelfiguur in het Haagse nachtleven, waar hij als DJ en programmeur zijn plek vond na een bewogen jeugd. In Verhullen keert hij terug naar ingrijpende momenten uit zijn verleden, en laat hij zien hoe muziek, spiritualiteit en gemeenschap een weg naar herstel kunnen zijn.
