My Favorite Birder

Join me this week as I sit down and talk with the man who has been called the "Indiana Jones of Birding". Matt Courtman is the man behind Mission Ivorybill and The Louisiana Wilds. Find out all about what he is doing to prove to the world that the Ivory-billed Woodpecker is not extinct. Matt encourages interested people to visit the FB page of Mission Ivorybill. He would be delighted to discuss anything Ivorybill related through email at matt@missionivorybill.org.

Join me this week as I sit down and talk to one half of the awesome brother birding duo of Badgerland Birding. Derek has his B.S. in Biology from Wisconsin Lutheran College, working on his M.S. in Marine and Environmental Biology at Nicholls State University. Find out how he and his brother started one of the best birding Youtube channels around.

Join me for the first episode of " That's a Good Egg", with a local good egg, Ben Meredyk.

Ben is a birder from northeast Ohio and current undergrad at the University of Idaho pursuing a degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology. Always a lover of the diversity of natural systems, he is passionate about conservation and invasive species ecology in the face of the climate crisis. As a birder, he is fascinated by the sociology of birding culture and strives to foster contagious enthusiasm about the world of birds.

April spent some time during lockdown with the Urban Birder himself, David Lindo. Take a listen as he shares his experiences while traveling the world and bringing his passion for birding in urban areas. It's amazing what you can see in any location!
