Biography:
ma1 (/ma ras/, Marek) Born in 1984, Polish DJ, fascinated and surrounded by music from his early years. Located in Łódź (Lodz, LDZ), Poland. He began to shape his relationship with electronic music culture, mainly reaching for Techno, House and dreaming of endless festivals such as Love Parade and Mayday. The interest in music was strengthened by the rapid development of electronic music culture in the hometown of Łódź, especially on the Drum & Bass, Old School and Jungle scene. He was taking his first steps using two sound cards, DJ software and being surrounded by DJs and producers from Łódź. He honed his DJ skills for a long time, switching to professional equipment, playing mainly Drum & Bass. Over the time, he expanded his creative horizons to other genres - Breakbeat, Techno and Dub Techno. Additionally, Marek is very closely related to Hip-Hop music, which played a very important role in his life. The fascination with music did not end only with mixing. To this day, Marek experiments with music gear, synthesizers and sound design in his studio. Privately, Marek is a happy husband and father, working as a software specialist, solution architect and technical sales engineer, specializing in PLM area.

Orion’s Sword does not aim to impress — it operates with precision and calm, tracing a trajectory through depth and distance. It opens the cycle with absolute accuracy: not an introduction, but the first incision into silence, after which space no longer returns to its previous state.

The album is constructed like a star map, readable by ear.
