First, the team tries to pick up the pieces now that they have Angel back. Cordelia acts totally normal in her all-black witchy maternity outfit. Connor continues to perfect his eternal sneer. Gunn, tired of being the muscle, joins Gwen on a side quest. Lorne, you in danger, girl.

 

Then, the revelation of Cordelia’s nefarious deception shatters the serenity at the Hyperion Hotel. Battle lines are drawn, and to no one’s surprise, Angel and his son are on opposite sides. Cordelia’s behaviour becomes increasingly unhinged, but Connor thinks this is fine. Cordelia gives birth, and according to one completely trustworthy demon, it’s the end of the world. Again.
