Talk Of The Townsends

Hannah and Benedict are having a baby! They share the full story, from the world’s faintest pregnancy test to telling friends and family, and discovering they know very little about what happens next.
They discuss keeping it secret at a bottomless brunch, a less-than-helpful trip to the doctor and a Disneyland visit where Benedict enjoyed the roller coasters while Hannah enjoyed sitting on a rock.
Plus, a friend’s suspiciously accurate premonition, the case for Baby as a middle name and why the newest Townsend will be known as James Bond Jr.

Amol Rajan told his wife he might be away for three weeks. Then he ended up in a coffin.
Hannah and Benedict chat to Celebrity Traitors’ first murder victim about his showdown with James Acaster, the research he did on his fellow contestants and why Richard E. Grant is even more terrifying in a freezing Scottish chapel.
They discuss the game plan he never got to use, Ross Kemp’s ongoing concerns about the arm rub and whether Amol would have turned on Richard if he’d become a Traitor.
Plus, the Del Boy and Rodney comparisons, and why repeatedly calling Richard “Withnail” may not have helped.

Celebrity Traitors continues, and Richard E. Grant is not doing anything to help his precarious position ahead of the first round table. Hannah and Benedict dive deep on episode two, from the biggest graveyard in Traitor’s history to the most teeth you’ve ever seen in one man’s mouth (we love you Rob Beckett).
They discuss blurred watches, frantic faithful theories and whether Ross Kemp can - literally - dig himself out of the hole of suspicion.
P.S - What has the BBC done for Romesh?

With Sense and Sensibility in cinemas, Hannah and Benedict take a closer look at what makes an adaptation work, and when sticking to the book might be the problem.
From The Lord of the Rings to The Hunger Games, they discuss your favourite adaptations, the changes worth making and why capturing the feeling of a book matters more than including every detail.
They also chat to Sense and Sensibility stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and George MacKay about bringing a beloved book to the screen, feeling too modern in a period drama and whether yearning is overrated.
