In preparation for the 20th anniversary, and the release of the long awaited sequel, I watched The Devil Wears Prada for the first time. Most people like it, some would go as far as calling it a classic. Me? I had a mental breakdown. Few movies have made me as furious as The Devil Wears Prada. Miranda Priestly is not someone to look up to, she is a vile and despicable parasite. She is like Patrick Bateman, but she hides her psychopathy better. Lee Cronin Directs this remake of The exorcist disguised as an Evil dead movie with a sprinkling of Hereditary. It is a heavy, dark drama about a family falling apart when their daughter returns after having been kidnapped eight years ago. It is also a gonzo splatter movie, full of disgusting goo and buckets of blood. If that sounds like a good time to you, you are in luck. if you think it sounds like a mess. good for you, you have a good taste in movies.
