Capcom has issued a statement regarding changes to the streaming guidelines Capcom Cup, including a price reduction of the PPV. There also is an essay going around by 6weetbix, the creator of several Tekken resources, called "Fighting Games Have a Product Design Problem" In this episode, Brian and iDom discuss the contents of the essay and why fighting games have a lot to go before reaching the levels of popularity that its contemporaries enjoy.

Riot Games has put out a statement announcing the layoff of 80 2XKO employees. Brian and iDom discuss the layoffs of longtime members of the FGC, how this all happened, and if they can turn this situation around. Prior to the release of 2XKO Season 1 and console release, RIOT games has flown out several influencers to preview the newest Champion, Caitlyn. With word of this getting out, the FGC is in outrage over how this compromises the competitive integrity of the game as major fighting game tournament Frosty Fausting's is right around the corner. However, this is not the first time fighting game pros have gotten unfair advantages in competitive play, so Brian and iDom will cover the history of unequal early access in FGs such as the Ban the Testers movement for Injustice 1 and the Street Fighter 6 Beta Crack
