Kevin sits down to catch up with Bob and Blaine to chat about the latest excitement during Bob's winter training trip. Every year, Bob moves his whole operation south for a few months because it's too cold and snowy to properly work tons of dogs each day. As you can imagine, he gets into a little fun when he's down there working. Plus, we're having puppies!
Here's a few highlights from the show:
Bob and Blaine learn to trap muskrats and Kevin doesn't know music

E 225. Marie's wild, western adventure
On today's episode of Lone D's Gun Dog Chronicles, we chat with our good friend, Marie Madaras, from Silver Lion Kennels in NH. If you thought Bob's hunting trip out west was interesting, then saddle up for this one.
Marie started her hunting season on the east coast in New Hampshire and then went north to chase grouse in Maine where she was mentoring students and running her dogs. Then she went west to the prairies with a group of women and their dogs and holy smokes, they got on some birds. If you haven't done it, it's always tough to load up and point your truck west in search of birds-- for tons of reasons. It's even more difficult to be successful with it; wellllllll Marie was.
You know what you need for Christmas? Some time on our patreon to get 1:1 coaching for you & your dog, talk DIRECTLY with Bob and join our happy hour hang outs. You can meet other training buddies you didn't know were in your area, trade a few stories and just kick back.
