We had the honor of doing a two-part interview with the producer, Nick Barber — also known as Doof! In this first part, we focus on the 90s: the beginnings, the classic tracks, the first iconic full-length album, and the live performances. Let's turn On!

Youth is a legend — an institution in the cross-scene musical landscape. He has produced countless records, played and created remixes with some of the biggest names in the world, and was there at the birth of several musical styles. Few people have had a greater influence on the emerging goa trance scene — among other things, he organized the first goa trance label and compilation. We were fortunate enough to talk with him a bit about those early days.

We had the chance to talk with all three members of Prana! This was our most ambitious project: 5 people, 4 time zones, 3 continents, but boy it was worth it!
