#158 – Cary Brobeck : on Choppers Magazine, Ed Roth, David Mann, and Preserving Chopper Culture

    18-02-2026 | 1 u. 16 Min.
Episode: Big Truth Podcast — with Cary Brobeck (Owner/Editor-in-Chief, Choppers Magazine + Founder/Organizer, Chopper Fest)
Core promise: A behind-the-scenes look at how chopper culture actually gets preserved and pushed forward—through print, shows, relationships, and a lot of unglamorous work.
Cary Brobeck breaks down the real day-to-day reality of running an iconic print magazine in an internet era while still working a full-time construction/QC job, plus what it took to take over Chopper Fest and scale it to 10,000+ attendees. The conversation hits chopper culture's punk/DIY roots, the market's price swings, the importance of showing up in the industry, and a major mission: preserving David Mann artwork and artifacts via the David Mann Legacy Foundation.

    Key topics & highlights
    ·       Chopper Fest: how Cary took over a 20-year legacy event (originally tied to David Mann) and doubled attendance year-over-year.
    ·       The grind nobody sees: why "owning a magazine" doesn't mean you're not still clocking in at a day job.
    ·       Why choppers (not just motorcycles): the punk/skate/custom-culture pipeline—loud, dangerous, DIY, and personal.
    ·       Market talk: vintage bike pricing swings (knuckles, pans, shovels), and why things feel like they're "breathing" again.
    ·       Publishing origin story: Dice → early projects → working with Easy Riders / Wrench → the path to Choppers Magazine.
    ·       Choppers Magazine name revival: how "Choppers Mag" (Ed Roth era) became available—and why Cary got the Roth family blessing first.
    ·       Preserving motorcycle art: the plan to collect and protect David Mann originals + artifacts so they don't disappear into attics, estates, and trash piles.
    ·       Harley sponsorship reality: how Cary views working with a corporation while staying rooted in the culture—plus why relationships matter.
    ·       What's next: more shows, possible "town takeovers," and future special issues (including an all-women riders edition idea).

#157 - Disclosure, Psyops, and the War Over Reality : with M.D. Selig

    04-02-2026 | 1 u. 41 Min.
What happens when a decorated Marine combat pilot, squadron intelligence officer, Hollywood insider, and bestselling starts asking questions about UFO disclosure, government secrecy, and psychological operations?
This one goes deep. The conversation goes far beyond "aliens."
In this episode, M.D. Selig — author of the international bestselling thriller Hush — joins the show from a boat in the Pacific to unpack the uncomfortable intersection between military intelligence, narrative control, and the shaping of public perception. Drawing from his background in military intelligence and storytelling, he breaks down how narratives are engineered, why timing matters, and how institutions manage information during moments of public tension.
We explore the possibility that disclosure itself may not simply be about revealing truth — but about controlling the context in which truth is received.
From military information warfare to media framing, from MH370 to 9/11, this discussion pulls on the threads that connect secrecy, perception management, and long-term narrative control.
This episode isn't about sensationalism. It's about examining how institutional power shapes what we're allowed to see — and what we're conditioned not to question.
If you're interested in UFO disclosure, psychological operations, state power, military intelligence, or the broader war over reality itself, this conversation will stay with you

    Topics Covered:
    ·       The real story behind "UFO disclosure" — and why timing matters
    ·       Psychological operations (psyops), and how narratives are engineered
    ·       The architecture of state secrecy and perception management
    Military intelligence and information warfare
Government secrecy and institutional power structures
    Media framing and engineered consensus
    ·       The disappearance of Malaysian Flight MH370
    ·       9/11 and long-tail information control
    ·       Deep state dynamics and institutional power patterns
    ·       The blurred line between fiction, classified reality, and power
    ·       Speaking out publicly after serving inside the system

#156 - Your Body Isn't Broken — It's Being Poisoned: with Christian Yordanov

    20-01-2026 | 1 u. 32 Min.
    Episode 156 - Your Body Isn't Broken — It's Being Poisoned
(A Functional Health Wake-Up Call with Christian Yordanov)
What if the symptoms so many people are struggling with today — chronic fatigue, brain fog, anxiety, autoimmune issues, hormonal dysfunction — aren't personal failures or genetic bad luck?
What if they're the predictable result of modern environmental exposure?
In this episode, I sit down with functional health practitioner Christian Yordanov to explore why so many people feel depleted, inflamed, or broken — and why the conventional healthcare system often struggles to provide real answers.
We break down a fundamental difference in approach:
Allopathic medicine is largely designed to manage symptoms once disease is established — often through pharmaceuticals or procedures — which can be lifesaving in acute care, but limited when it comes to chronic, complex illness.
Functional medicine, on the other hand, asks a different question:
Why is this happening in the first place?
Rather than silencing symptoms, functional health looks upstream at root causes — toxic load, nutrient deficiencies, gut dysfunction, mold exposure, metabolic stress, and lifestyle factors that slowly overwhelm the body over time. Many people are told their labs are "normal," even while their health continues to decline.
In this conversation, we explore how the body doesn't randomly malfunction — it adapts to its environment. When that environment becomes hostile, symptoms are often the body's early warning system, not the enemy.
This isn't about rejecting modern medicine or chasing quick fixes. It's about understanding how different systems approach health — and why addressing root causes can change the trajectory of chronic illness.
This episode is a wake-up call — not to panic, but to rethink what health really means in the modern world.
Because your body isn't betraying you.
It's responding exactly as it was designed to.

    🧠 Topics We Cover
    ·       The key differences between symptom management and root-cause medicine
    ·       Why many chronic conditions fall through the cracks of conventional care
    ·       How toxic load accumulates from food, water, air, and indoor environments
    ·       Why "normal labs" don't always equal optimal health
    ·       The functional medicine lens: systems biology, context, and causality
    ·       How symptoms can be signals — not failures
    ·       Practical first steps to reduce burden and support the body

    ⚠️ Important Note
This episode is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your health regimen.

If you've ever been told "everything looks normal" while knowing something wasn't right — this episode is for you.
