The Boys Podcast Season 5 Episode 5 Review

    05-05-2026 | 1 u. 32 Min.
The reunion we have been waiting for years for this week in The Boys Season 5 Episode 5 One-Shots. We get the Supernatural team back together but The Boys is not content with just a reunion we get massive cameos, huge deaths and deep into the mind of Terror. As the show gets into the last four episodes we discuss it all in spoiler filled detail.
The Boys Season 5 Episode 5 One-Shots Synopsis
Head Writer and Developed by - Eric Kripke
Based on the comic series from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson
Executive Producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
    Episode written by: Judalina Neira
    Episode directed by: Phil Sgriccia
Synopsis: Firecracker is asked by her former reverend for help after his church is vandalized, because he won’t move to the teachings of the Democratic Church of America. When the church is later raided and the Pastor arrested, a troubled and torn Firecracker gives a defamatory news report about him.
Meanwhile, Black Noir struggles not only with his partnership with The Deep, but also with his identity as he tries to balance being in The Seven with his commitments to a local theater group. As tensions rise, The Deep kills the play director, Adam Bourke, a la Conger Eel as he reasserts his control over Black Noir.
At the Boys makeshift laboratory Frenchie continues to develop the virus while Mothers Milk searches for Bombsite and the remaining V1. After a close call between chocolate and his beloved dog Terror, Butcher finally agrees that he will allow Annie and Kimiko to take it when (if) they find it.
Back at Vought Tower Sister Sage warns Ashley that Homelander must not obtain V1. When Ashley asks what the angle is, Sister Sage says peace! More specifically her own peace and quiet with a book and no longer harassed by Homelander. To do this she is planning World War Supe to ensure humans and Supes ultimately kill each other. She needs back-Ashley’s help finding out Soldier Boy's plans and as a reward Bashley and Ashley will be allowed to join Sage in her bunker.
In the basement, Homelander and Soldier Boy interrogate Stan Edgar, who points them to Mister Marathon, a former member of the Seven now residing in Los Angeles. Mister Marathon and his friend Malchemical try to turn Soldier Boy against Homelander after Malchemical incapacitates him, but he refuses and kills Malchemical. During a pursuit, Marathon accidentally kills his celebrity friends running into them at every step of the way. Soldier Boy finally brings him to a halt with lots and lots of Daddy Puff’s baby oil and incapacitates him with a heavy dose of snap, crackle and pop of his breaking bones. After getting confirmation from Mister Marathon that Bombsight has V1, Homelander kills him.
Back at Vought Tower, after learning Firecracker has been sleeping with his father and also the nature of her post-coital chit chat and Firecracker’s doubts, Homelander asks her to pack her bags and go. Firecracker pleads with him for her to stay saying she is the only one that has ever loved him. As she pushes it too far Homelander makes her a permanent feature of Vought Tower as he kills her. Death by eagle wing, as he pins her head to the right wing of an all American bald eagle.

The Boys Podcast Season 5 Episode 4 Review

    28-04-2026 | 1 u. 14 Min.
John and Derek discuss The Boys Season 5 Episode 4 King of Hell with an episode focus on the Fort Harmony which maybe should be renamed Fort Chaos. The officially unofficial Boys Podcast returns to chat all about the forth episode of the final season of The Boys in spoiler filled detail.
The Boys Season 5 Episode 3 Every One of You Synopsis
Head Writer and Developed by - Eric Kripke
Based on the comic series from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson
Executive Producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
    Episode written by: Geoff Aull
    Episode directed by: Karen Gaviola
Synopsis: Following his epiphany Homelander tasks Firecracker to present him as the one true god to the people. Needing help she involves Supes Worm, Ashley, her bankrupt evangelical husband, Oh Father and snarker PR lead, Courtney, to come up with a plan.
The Boys, still without the virus, go to Fort Harmony to find V1, the virus resistant original version of the drug which gives Supes their powers.
There an airborne virus pits the team against each other with Hughie, Butcher, MM and Kimiko all at each other’s throats. Only Frenchie is immune due to his past drug abuse.
When they reach the safe at Fort Harmony they find no remaining V1 vials and they suspect that the Supe Bombsight has recently taken all vials of the V1 that were there but don’t know why.
Homelander and Soldier Boy are also in search of the V1 at Fort Harmony. Homelander mocks him, saying he injected himself with V1 because he felt inferior to his brother; Soldier Boy locks Homelander in a chamber of enriched uranium to prevent him from getting V1, which he intends to destroy.
Frenchie finds the source of the toxoplasmosis and takes Soldier Boy to it, revealing it is Quinn, with whom he had a past. After Frenchie provokes him, Soldier Boy kills Quinn, returning everyone to normal. Homelander breaks out of the chamber and spares Soldier Boy's life after seeing him broken at killing Quinn.
Meanwhile Annie meets her father, who admits he always loved her, and asks her to keep her loved ones close to keep her humanity which prompts her to reunite with Hughie.
To fulfil Homelander’s request of her Firecracker sets up a massive church service where Oh Father proclaims Homelander as a prophet of God.

Created by: Robert Kirkman, Ryan Ottley, Cory Walker
    Episode Written by: Simon Racioppa
    Directed by: Ian Abando
Mark, Nolan, and Tech Jacket race back to Earth, but despite Mark’s worst fears they find it intact.
As Mark reunites with his mother, Eve, and his friends, he experiences hallucinations of Thragg killing them individually as retribution for the destruction of the Viltrumite home world.
Nolan revisits the crater where he pummeled Mark and is confronted by a distrustful Cecil, who urges Nolan to get the Coalition to arrive quickly if the Viltrumites arrive on Earth.
Debbie and Paul mutually end their relationship, while Eve tearfully informs Mark that she aborted her pregnancy in fear of having to raise the baby alone. She didn't know what else to do.
Debbie goes to Talescria with Nolan to care for Oliver, while Mark leisurely flies alone at Eve’s suggestion to relieve his anxieties, only to add to them when he encounters Grand Regent Thragg high over planet Earth.
Thragg informs Mark that the remaining 37 Viltrumites are indeed on Earth, secretly living among humans to repopulate; he threatens to destroy the planet if they are disturbed, but promises that they will not interfere positively or negatively with humans if they are left alone.
After realising he really has no choice at all, Mark reluctantly agrees to his terms.
Meanwhile, The Great Allen receives a post-mortem message from Thaedus for his eye only. In the message he is instructed to use the perfected Scourge Virus to eliminate the remaining Viltrumites, even though it may also be lethal to Mark's people.

The Boys Podcast Season 5 Episode 3

    21-04-2026 | 1 u. 13 Min.
Lots of father and son discussions and Derek and John chat all about The Boys Season 5 Episode 3 Every One Of You Bitches. The officially unofficial Boys Podcast returns to chat all about the third episode of the final season of The Boys in spoiler filled detail.
The Boys Season 5 Episode 3 Every One of You Synopsis
Head Writer and Developed by - Eric Kripke
Based on the comic series from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson

    Episode written by: Ellie Monahan
    Episode directed by: Karen Gaviola
Synopsis: Vought cleans up Soldier Boy's image and he becomes a member of The Seven. Sister Sage reveals that the first version of Compound V, V1, which Soldier Boy has, slows the aging process so much that it makes him practically immortal. This prompts Homelander, after an angelic hallucination of Madelyn Stillwell, to pursue a vial of the legendary compound V. V1.
Meanwhile, the Boys, with Stan Edgar's help, locate a base where V1 may be located. Butcher finds Ryan and gets Ryan to agree that he will kill Homelander with the virus, even though it will kill both Butcher and Ryan in the process.
Elsewhere, Zoe Neuman, still angry at Butcher for killing her mother, also finds out that her father, Sameer, is still alive. As they leave Butcher’s makeshift laboratory they destroy the remaining samples of the virus.
The Deep, Cindy, Dogknott, and Black Noir II are after Stan Edgar for Homelander and arrive at his bunker. After getting inside, thanks to Maverick, Translucent’s son (who finally knows the truth about Hughie’s role in his killing), Noir captures Edgar. But in the game of the Seven, Deep betrays him, knocking him out, so that he can take Edgar to Homelander himself. In the fight at the bunker, meanwhile, Maverick confronts Hughie and in the fight Cindy kills Maverick and Annie kills Cindy.
Against Butcher’s advice, and without the virus, Ryan confronts Homelander about raping his mother, Becca, which leads to a violent fight that leaves Ryan badly injured.
