Deep Water (2026) Review - Sick of shark movies yet? No? Neither am I! Which is why I went out to the newest one with my son. The premise of a plane crashing into the ocean and the survivors are surrounded by sharks, is a good one. Unfortunately, the movie was not.

Hokum Review - Adam Scott stars in a new horror film as a writer who gets trapped in a haunted hotel. I found the film to be frustrating and nonsensical. The mysteries surrounding the hotel lose their luster when the scares don't land. Hokum was a miss for me.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 Review - The ladies are back for another catty fashion show in this legacy sequel. The Devil Wears Prada 2 was far better than it had any right to be. Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt effortlessly fall back into their characters. Stanley Tucci doesn't disappoint either. The Devil Wears Prada 2 was a pleasant surprise.

A24 Mother Mary Review - Anne Hathaway stars as a famous pop singer with a disturbing secret in the new A24 film, "Mother Mary". I was on board at first but then the supernatural angle to shook and completely took me out. The trailers for this are also very misleading. Almost the entire movie takes place in one location with two women talking for 90 minutes straight. It's a mess.
