They then turn their attention to the mortal enemy of healthy gut microbiome everywhere: the airport sandwich. Inspired by Bad Bunny’s recent Super Bowl performance, the theme for this week is celebrity activism. The boys discuss some of the celebrities who have advocated for causes throughout their careers, and wonder whether we expect too much from our pop culture figures. Oh, and they have to ask: what the heck is going on with Nicki Maga Minaj?!

Strap in girlies: PJ is giving us the inside scoop on the WhatsApp group dedicated to farts that he’s been added to this week, and it’s harrowing stuff. In honour of International Women’s Day on March 8th, the lads are talking all about their favourite people: the girlies! The theme for this week is feminism, so Kevin has an excuse to talk about the ultimate feminist queen, Lisa Simpson, as well as the connection that gay men have to the women in their lives. They also discuss some of Ireland’s most impactful feminist icons and unpack common feminist stereotypes.

This week Kevin enters his glasses era after discovering he has astigmatism and the lads spend a significant amount of time unpacking what this means for him personally, professionally and spiritually. While the realisation has shaken him slightly, mainly because it has forced him to confront the fact that youth is perhaps not as close as it once was, there are upsides. Chief among them is the discovery that wearing glasses may actually improve his flirting success rate.
For the theme, Kevin and PJ dive into dating horror stories. From a girl whose date casually drove off in her car for twenty minutes leaving her stranded on a country road, to a man who spent an entire date aggressively eating wedges with greasy hands and an alarming number of ketchup sachets, the lads weigh in on the red flags, the survival tactics and the lessons learned.

This week Kevin and PJ are celebrating seven years of I'm Grand Mam. The lads take a trip down memory lane, reflecting on the highs, the lows and everything in between that’s happened since they first hit record. From chaotic early episodes to the milestones they never saw coming, it’s a proper sentimental moment… well, as sentimental as they allow themselves to be. Producer Sadhbh has also done some investigative work and listened back to the first five episodes, arriving with notes and a few pointed questions to see whether the boys still stand by some of the opinions they confidently shared seven years ago. Then for the theme, the boys are covering something near and dear to their hearts: the TV talent show. They reminisce on everything from Cher Lloyd’s iconic Halloween cover of Stay, to Ireland’s best talent show, You’re A Star.
