Daniel recounts an intense "awakening" period during which he experienced overwhelming and frightening visions, sought out mediums who independently told him the same things about himself, and eventually had a direct conversation with God asking for guidance. He describes developing the ability to channel archangels — who appear to him not as traditional winged figures but as varied, often nonhuman forms — and recounts repeated direct encounters with God and Jesus.
