Introducing the new SUNANDBASS Recordings mix series, showcasing the artists joining us across our label events 🎙️💚

For the first instalment, ahead of our collaboration with Integral Records & Makino, we welcome Eijer for a special debut mix.

Formerly known as one half of Artificial Intelligence, Eijer is the new alias from one of the most respected names in the Drum & Bass scene, already making his mark with standout releases on Integral Records, The North Quarter and Metalheadz.

Curating Integral alongside Emma G, Eijer represents an exciting new chapter, exploring the deeper and more soulful side of Drum & Bass while carrying across the signature production style he’s become known for.

He’ll be joining us at Notting Hill Arts Club in London on Friday 25th September, bringing that sound to the dancefloor alongside the artists from the SUNANDBASS, Integral & Makino family.

As we get ready for our annual reunion in Sardinia this week, we’re proud to release SAB Podcast #172, but with no music at 172 BPM, from our regular and soulful selector Redeyes.

A very special multi-genre mix exploring the influences that shaped him, while remembering our brother Lenzman, who hosted one of the very first SAB Podcasts with a multi-genre mix of his own.

Since last appearing on the SAB Podcast nine years ago, Redeyes has flourished as an artist, releasing a number of beautiful albums and standout tracks on TNQ, as well as starting his own imprint, Five Alley. Through the label, he’s championed new and upcoming artists, giving back to the community through releases that raise money for charities chosen by the artists themselves. Five Alley has also become a home for some of the best soulful drum & bass of the last few years, keeping that side of the genre alive and thriving.

We’re excited to welcome Redeyes back with this beautiful mix, the perfect soundtrack for slow mornings or chilled evenings in San Teodoro. We also can’t wait to have him back at Ambra Night this Sunday for the TNQ takeover.

Having joined us at SAB a number of times, the international MC, has risen to prominence from the underground Dnb circuit , recently making serious waves hosting for the likes of Bryan Gee, and more recently has had a huge summer performing alongside Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra 🔥

With a string of features and releases on labels including V Recordings and Goldfat, he’s worked with producers such as L-Side, Mr Joseph, and Dogger & Mindstate. He’s also the CEO of Vocal Eyes, his new event championing live vocalists across the drum & bass scene.

Featuring plenty of Illmatika’s own music alongside some of his favourite selections inspired by his time in Sardinia, this is the perfect soundtrack to get you ready for the island and your Sunday listening 🌞
