In this episode, I’m chatting a bit more about my recent planner hopping experiment and the thoughts behind it.

I didn’t switch planners because everything was falling apart or because I was chasing the “perfect” system. I was just curious. I wanted to see what would happen if I gave myself permission to move around a little, especially while trying to get back into daily planning and rapid logging.

So this is more of a behind-the-scenes companion to my latest YouTube video. I talk about why I tried it, what I noticed, and how changing planners sometimes helps me understand what I actually need from my system.

In this episode, I’m doing a little reset for the podcast.
I still love making The Stationery Junkie, but between work, making videos, life changes, mood shifts, and just having limited energy, the podcast quietly took a backseat for a while. So instead of forcing myself to come back with a big plan or a perfect schedule, I’m easing back in more gently.
I talk about where I’ve been, why podcasting started to feel harder to keep up with, and how I want this space to feel moving forward: more casual, reflective, lightly edited, and less pressure overall.
Think of this as a soft re-entry. A cozy catch-up. A small reminder that creative things are allowed to change with us.

Planner season 2026 has been… something else.

Prices are higher, US buyers are dealing with new fees, some folks are redating their old planners, others are chasing Hobonichi freebies, and there’s even been some shady paper and manufacturer drama. It’s been a mix of refreshing moments and classic planner FOMO.

In this episode, I’m sharing my reflections on what I’ve seen so far: the good, the surprising, and the eyebrow-raising.

Things might still change as more planners and lineups are announced, but right now, this setup feels balanced and intentional.
