Christ With Coffee On Ice

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Wednesday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about what it looks like to stay faithful to the Lord even in seasons of feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes when we are juggling a lot of things at once, we doubt or forget that God is the very one who entrusted us with those things and we end up feeling burdened by the blessings in our life. So let's talk more about this and we are so happy you're here and that you showed up to what the Lord has for you in today's episode :)
"Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." Philippians 4:4-6

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost reads through 1 Kings chapters 1 and 2. These two chapters walk through Soloman becoming King of Israel after his father, David's death. Soloman further establishes his Kingdom by following his father's instructions and removing those who threaten his reign. Whether you have already read through this or maybe you have been meaning to, we encourage you to sit with God as we open His word together. Also, thank you guys for enduring me trying to figure out how to pronounce half of these words, we're figuring it out together lol.
"Observe the requirements of the LORD your God, and follow all his ways. Keep the decrees, commands, regulations, and laws written in the Law of Moses so that you will be successful in all you do and wherever you go." 1 Kings 2:3

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Wednesday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about what happens to our faith when we've done everything we thought we were supposed to do. We've prayed, believed, waited, and God still hasn't given us the thing that we've been asking for. So let's talk about that and how we can still trust in Him and His promises to us.
"You haven't done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." John 16:24

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost talks about the times where we don't always feel the presence of God. It's a part of maturing in our relationship with Christ in understanding that we aren't always going to have grand and profound encounters. Sometimes we can interpret the lack of those encouters as God being far away from us so let's talk more about this and bring it back to what God promises us in scripture.
"For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." Hebrews 13:5

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Wednesday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost deeply relates to today's topic where we talk about the danger of always looking for or needing a sign from God. God can obviously send us signs and confirmation in that way but our faith shouldn't solely rely on that alone. Jesus is good and true even in the moments where we don't see or hear him clearly and we are called to trust Him in all circumstances.
"For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7
