CLUB NIX 177 — a melodic and progressive house mix by Mark Norman, featuring John Summit, Adam Beyer, Adriatique and Liva K.

This edition has a personal connection. Frankyeffe’s rework of our Mark Norman track Shine is out now, and it takes its place alongside records I keep coming back to.

Durante sets things in motion with his remix of Coaster. Dilby, Fahlberg and Liva K follow, before Odd Mob’s remix of John Summit’s Palm of My Hands and Adam Beyer’s Desolate Lands set up the final stretch. Shine lands just before Adriatique and Emmit Fenn bring things home with Closer.

CLUB NIX 173. New music from Guy J, DAVI, Jimi Jules, Ian Kinsella, STAY GOLDEN and more — ending with Sasha’s remix of the BT & Jan Johnston classic Mercury & Solace.

This one moves around a bit.
It starts deep and spacious with Guy J’s Placebo, slowly picks up the groove, and somewhere along the way moves into indie dance, darker club records and a few tracks that are harder to put in a box.
Which is exactly how I like it.

Most of these records are new. One definitely isn’t.
I couldn’t resist ending this edition with Mercury & Solace. I’ve known that record for years and somehow it still gets me every time. Some records just don’t lose it.
