Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev joins Andy live from the HOOD Summit in Houston, Texas for a quick conversation about tokenization and Robinhood Chain.
He told us to look at the Robinhood app and imagine onchain versions of everything in it. Robinhood Chain is just two months old and already number one in developer activity, with huge onchain perps and spot DEX volume.
He confirms private stock tokens are coming at scale, with Robinhood Ventures giving them unique access to private companies asking how to participate. He also explains his vision for tokenization: democratizing access at scale to wealth creation, perhaps allowing someone in Ecuador or Eastern Europe to have the same access to high-quality assets that Americans already have.
