Midnighters, the clocks have gone back, the island has gone quiet, and this hour keeps landing every Wednesday. Welcome to November.
Drumcode again. Eight of the thirteen tracks this week, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. The label turns thirty this year and it’s using the occasion to open its own archive: classics reworked for 2026, next to brand new material. If you’ve been with this show for a while, you’ll recognise a few of them. If you’re new here, this is a crash course in why that label matters.

Midnighters, I’ll say it before you do: this hour is Drumcode overkill. Eight of the twelve tracks carry the label. No apologies.
Drumcode turns 30 this year, and what they’ve put out around ADE is some of the strongest music I’ve heard from them in a long time. When a label is on a run like this, you don’t ration it. You play it.
That makes it four weeks of Drumcode spectacle in this show, and I’m fine with that. Next to it you get a stack of exclusives, and, as always, one classic to remind you where all of this comes from.
