With the UFC and the paramount era upon us, there is perhaps no greater opportunity than 2026 to put together some of the biggest fights with more eyes watching it than ever before. There are a lot of hurdles for these fights, but to us are the clear best options to maximize on this new era. What are your must see fights for 2026?

The UFC has put on thousands of fights over the years and have no doubt have been unhappy with at least a few of those results, but when it comes to these fights, well they were downright embarrassed and some even got Dana White to threaten to leave press conferences.

So few fighters have been let go from the UFC and despite high profile wins with a fan friendly style and popularity been refused rentry into the UFC ranks. Paul Daley was one such rare where the wrong place at the wrong time paired with an awful decision meant only about 5 seconds had him literally banned for life.

A single win at times can be the difference between undeniable greatness and not quite. These are the MMA/UFC fighters that were so close to being considered the GOAT in their division, but either lost, left or just could quite hold on long enough.

Sometimes finishing your opponent in an MMA/UFC fight just once isn't enough. The ref is often to blame for not stopping it and making a 2nd finish happen, but the corner doesn't always stop it like they should either. Even the fighters themselves can do things to fake it and try to cheat themselves out of a loss.
