I don't think we've ever seen anymore more happy to go snowboarding than Austen Sweetin. His positivity is truly infectious. I mean even just watching him snowboard puts a smile on our faces. To be honest it's hard to keep our eyes off of him. He charges everything at full speed and refuses to fall. In this conversation we take a deep dive into Sweetin's formative time on Forum Snowboards and how being a professional snowboarder was so much different back then. We talk about his time filming for Absinthe Films and how teaming up with Lucey sparked a whole new genre of snowboarding and film-making for the two of them. When you think of snowboarding you think of Halldor Helgason. You can’t have one without the other. With Icelandic roots Halldor has paved his way through the industry and cemented himself as a cornerstone of the sport. Which is ironic because his snowboarding is about as far away from “sport-like” as it can get. He hit a massive roof gap while wearing a neck brace, invented the “jerk-flip,” and continues to have fun and spread joy on his snowboard all season long.
