Traditional Franciscan priest Fr. Mary-Isaac Relyea joins John-Henry Westen to address what he describes as a crisis of silence within the Catholic hierarchy. Mental prayer is an intimate conversation with God. Intellectual knowledge of the faith is not enough—Catholics must live it through prayer and heroic virtue.
On the SSPX controversy, Relyea rejects warnings that Catholics associated with the Society are endangering their salvation. He defends resistance to commands he considers contrary to the faith and urges Catholics not to succumb to fear of persecution or condemnation. The silence must be broken. The faith must be defended. And the time to act is now.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen's beatification is approaching, and the story behind it is miraculous. John-Henry Westen speaks with Al Smith, a Canadian plumber who had never heard of Sheen and became one of his most dedicated promoters. Smith discovered Sheen through his writings, brought his talks to radio and seminaries, republished his works, and eventually served with the Sheen Foundation. He highlights Sheen's Marian and Carmelite spirituality, his commitment to the Holy Hour, and his determination to bring souls to Christ.

But the most extraordinary part of the story is James Fulton Engstrom, the child whose approved healing was attributed to Sheen's intercession. The newborn showed no signs of life for 61 minutes as his family prayed for Sheen's intercession. Then his heart began beating again. He suffered no brain damage. Now 15 years old, he will process Sheen's relics at the beatification ceremony.

Sheen was not simply a celebrated Catholic broadcaster. He was a spiritual teacher whose writings, devotion to Our Lady, Eucharistic spirituality, and zeal for souls can continue forming Catholics into disciples today. The miracle paved the way. Jason Jones traveled to southern Lebanon with his 18-year-old son on a humanitarian mission to assist vulnerable Christian communities caught between Israel and Hezbollah. They slept in villages while nearby bombing repeatedly shook their building. They traveled through dangerous territory and passed the aftermath of deadly attacks. Through the Vulnerable People Project, Jones's team visited isolated Christian villages, organized festivals for hundreds of children, celebrated the Feast of the Assumption with local Christians, and developed a plan to help these communities survive the coming winter.
Jones describes what he says is the destruction of Christian villages, churches, crucifixes, and religious images by Israeli forces, comparing some of the desecration he witnessed to what he previously saw after ISIS attacks in Iraq. Ancient Christian communities in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank are being abandoned while trapped between competing regional powers.
Jones calls on American Catholics to use their political influence and resources to defend them. He urges Christians to overcome internal divisions and develop a lasting "habit of solidarity" with persecuted Christians around the world. The children are suffering. The churches are being destroyed. The faithful are being abandoned. The question is whether American Catholics will respond, or remain silent while the Holy Land's Christians disappear. The time for solidarity is now.

Chéri Ballinger was a model and actress with everything ahead of her. Then, on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, after praying several Rosaries, she fell seven feet from a trampoline onto concrete.
