Robert Abernathy makes his debut on the podcast today. Born in Tucson, Arizona in 1924, he sold his first short story, Heritage, right around his eighteenth birthday. Over the next decade, about forty of his science fiction stories appeared in the leading science fiction magazines.
Outside the pages of science fiction, Abernathy built a long academic career as a college professor, teaching at the University of Colorado until his retirement.
