  • EP05 | Asian Art Biennial and Afro-Asian Ocean Studies 亞洲藝術雙年展與海洋研究
The curators Asli Seven and Merv Espina—members of the 9th Asian Art Biennial team—together with Fang Yen Hsiang, Anne Davidian, and Haeju Kim, offer valuable insights into the research and artistic projects exploring the meanings and entanglements of the Afro-Asian oceanic regions. Through their curatorial and artistic practices, they illuminate critical perspectives reflected in several of the projects featured in this edition of the Biennial, hosted by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. These include remarkable works by artists such as Nathalie Muchamad, Tao Leigh Goffe, Richard Fung, and Gary Zhexi Zhang, among others. We invite you to join us in delving into these layered inquiries and curatorial approaches, and to revisit the Biennial through an oceanic lens.#Asia #BlackAtlantic #Breadfruit #CIA #Dalpuri #Zanzibar策展人艾斯莉・西文(Asli Seven)與墨夫・艾斯賓納(Merv Espina),作為第九屆亞洲藝術雙年展策展團隊的成員,聯同方彥翔、安妮・戴維狄安(Anne Davidian)與金海主(Haeju Kim),共同為我們帶來關於非亞海域藝術研究的深刻見解。 關鍵字:#亞洲 #黑色大西洋 #麵包果 #中央情報局 #豆普里 #尚吉巴☯ About Asli Seven ☯Asli Seven is an independent curator, researcher and writer based between Istanbul and Paris.
