This special interview was recorded live during our Raíz Futura Retrea in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, where we sat with Salomón, a Mamo of the Arhuaco/Iku lineage, alongside Daniel “Dafers” Silva, who has spent years learning directly from the Mamos and helping bridge their teachings into a language the modern world can understand. Together, we explore the Law of Origin, the Arhuaco understanding of humanity’s beginnings, and why Salomón says it is now “time to remember.” We go into teachings they describe as extending beyond 26,000 years, a time before our current relationship with the sun and moon, and a worldview in which every part of creation carries its own intelligence, order, and relationship to the whole.  

From there, the conversation moves into some of the most extraordinary territory we have ever explored on the show: sacred lagoons and Mamo initiations, stories of weather being influenced and healing taking place through deep relationship with nature, the four physical “untouchable” points said to preserve ancestral knowledge even through great floods or near-erasure of humanity, the Poporo as an ancient sacred device of memory and connection, and Salomón’s perspective on modern technology and AI. Beneath all of it is a simple but profound message: humanity may not be suffering because we need more information, but because we have forgotten how to live in right relationship with the Earth, with one another, and with the original order of life itself.
