The Stories of the Ramayana

Bharat refuses to be the King of Ayodhya and vows to bring back Ram.
After making the arrangements, he embarks on his journey to find Ram. On the way, he meets the Nishad King Guha, who helps him cross the river. Rishi Bharadwaj welcomes him to his hermitage and treats his army to a grand feast.

Prince Bharat is summoned to Ayodhya. Bharat returns and hears about the death of his father, King Dasarath, and the exile of Ram.
He and Shatrughna perform the last rites of their father and punish Manthara.

King Dasarath recalls a horrific incident in his life when a blind old hermit curses him for killing his son,
Dasarath succumbs to his grief and loss and breathes his last.
Ayodhya is in a crisis, and the ministers had to call back Bharat to the kingdom.
