More recently, Lewis co-wrote the Grammy-nominated song “Even If,” recorded by MercyMe. The song has now inspired the new film I Can Only Imagine 2.

Facing backlash for visiting disgraced Pastor Robert Morris in prison and declaring him forgiven by God, Mercy Culture Pastor Landon Schott unleashed on his critics in a video posted online.  

Calling them “demonic,” “foul religious spirits” and “vipers,” Schott claimed those criticizing him were evil. He also said they “don’t do crap” for victims, while highlighting the 100-bed home for sex trafficking victims his church is building on its campus in Fort Worth, Texas.
