Divine Encounters: Near-Death Experiences (NDE) & Beyond

What if, in the moment you were dying, you could see every possible future your life might take? Near-death experiencer Chrystal Rae shares the extraordinary day a vehicle carrying her and two companions lost control on an icy mountain road near Vail, Colorado. As the Jeep spun and plunged off a cliff, Chrystal describes time slowing down before she suddenly found herself outside her body, held within a luminous presence. During her near-death experience, she says she witnessed a panoramic life review, understood the ripple effects of her smallest acts of kindness, and was shown multiple possible timelines, including one in which her two children grew up without her.

Chrystal recounts why she chose to return to her body, the profound message about love she believes she received, and how the experience transformed her understanding of death, motherhood, consciousness, and the beauty of everyday life. From seeing her children's possible futures to recognizing the importance of a simple hug, a sunrise, or the smell of freshly cut grass, her story offers a moving invitation to live more fully in the present. This conversation explores near-death experiences, life reviews, alternate timelines, the afterlife, and why Chrystal believes love is the deepest purpose of our time on Earth.

What happens when you're drowning, your body is sinking, and suddenly you experience yourself outside your physical body? Kelvin Chin shares his extraordinary near-death experience in the Pacific Ocean, where a powerful rip current pulled him far from shore. As exhaustion overtook him, Kelvin describes a sudden separation between his mind and body. Drawing on years of meditation practice, he says he made a conscious decision to return, regain control, and fight his way back to safety.

But Kelvin's spiritual journey didn't end with his near-death experience. He later experienced what he interpreted as a vivid past-life memory, challenging his previous disbelief in reincarnation. In this conversation, he explores meditation, out-of-body experiences, the possibility of an eternal soul, and his personal understanding of God and consciousness. His story offers a fascinating perspective on survival, spirituality, and the mysteries of human existence.

What if physical reality has an underlying structure—and consciousness is far more involved in our experience of it than we realize?

Steven Noack recounts being struck by a car when he was four years old and describes suddenly observing himself before encountering a luminous, hooded figure. Steven says the being told him that he had more to do and showed him what he interpreted as heaven—a world filled with extraordinary colors, life, joy and an absence of suffering. He then describes being shown something resembling a blueprint beneath material reality, which he interpreted as an energetic structure underlying the physical world.

Steven says the experience also contained teachings about human creative power, the heart, personal energetic “blueprints,” and humanity's future. He recalls being told that humanity would eventually need to evolve toward greater compassion, unity and higher consciousness rather than separation and suffering. Decades later, following another accident, Steven says he heard the same familiar voice again and began undergoing experiences that radically changed his understanding of himself and reality.

What happens to consciousness when the brain can no longer support ordinary human awareness?

Dr. Eben Alexander, a neurosurgeon and author of Proof of Heaven, returns to describe the extraordinary near-death experience that transformed his understanding of consciousness, death, and the nature of reality. In 2008, at 54 years old, Eben fell into a seven-day coma from severe meningitis. By day seven, he says his doctors had given him only a 2% chance of survival and no chance of recovery. Yet while his physical brain was critically ill, Eben says he experienced a spiritual reality that remains extraordinarily vivid to him 18 years later. He describes being drawn back toward his body after sensing his young son pleading beside his ICU bed—and making a recovery that ultimately forced him to question everything he believed about the relationship between brain and consciousness.

Eben takes us through the realms he says he encountered beyond the body: an initial darkness, a spinning white light accompanied by a perfect musical melody, the breathtaking Gateway Valley, thousands of souls, angelic choirs, life reviews, reincarnation, and finally an infinite realm he calls the Core. There, Eben says all dualities dissolved into oneness and unconditional love, and he came to understand consciousness as directly connected to a divine source. He also explains why he believes life reviews reveal the deeper meaning of the Golden Rule: when we hurt another person, we may ultimately experience that pain from their perspective. For Eben, death is not the end of consciousness, but a liberation into a much larger reality—and meditation can help us begin exploring that deeper nature while we're still here.

What happens when an 80 mph crash should destroy your body—but instead everything becomes peaceful, silent, and completely free of pain?

Mike Ben Avi, a former correctional officer and longtime martial arts instructor, describes losing control of his vehicle after an exhausting period working night shifts at a maximum-security prison. Rather than collide with a car carrying a mother and two children, Mike says he deliberately turned toward a concrete structure. His vehicle rolled repeatedly and was crushed around him.

Mike says what followed transformed his understanding of life. He describes entering a state without sound, pain, smell, or even ordinary thought—and seeing a mysterious older woman dressed in clothing that appeared to come from centuries earlier. When normal sensory experience suddenly returned, emergency responders arrived, but Mike says authorities later told him no woman had been at the scene. Even more astonishingly, he says doctors examined him after the devastating wreck and found no broken bones, bruises, or significant injuries.
