The Bible Explained with Jenn Kokal

James 4 delves into a crucial topic that affects the church worldwide: the problem of selfish ambition and its devastating consequences. The Israelites' make a covenant with God, promising to follow His law and observe His commands, ordinances, and statutes.
Three specific promises made - not giving their daughters in marriage to foreigners, foregoing the seventh year crops and debts, and not purchasing goods on the Sabbath day.
The Israelites begin to move into overcompensation for the sins of their forefathers, especially as we journey to the New Testament.
