Philippine Risch is CEO van BNG.



Ze begon haar loopbaan in 1996 als managementtrainee bij ING en werkte vervolgens ruim twintig jaar voor de bank in uiteenlopende commerciële en leidinggevende functies. In 2018 maakte ze de overstap naar McKinsey & Company, waar ze zes jaar partner was.



Sinds oktober 2024 is Philippine CEO van BNG, de bank die financiering verstrekt aan Nederlandse publieke en semipublieke organisaties, zoals gemeenten, woningcorporaties, zorginstellingen, scholen en energiebedrijven.



Naast haar werk bij BNG is Philippine bestuurslid van de Foundation van het Prinses Máxima Centrum voor kinderoncologie. Eerder was ze jarenlang bestuurslid en penningmeester van het Carré Fonds.



Philippine studeerde Nederlands recht aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Ze is 54 jaar, heeft drie zoons en woont in Naarden.

Since January 2024, Hugo Peek has been CEO of BNP Paribas Netherlands. He leads the Dutch corporate and investment bank and oversees BNP Paribas’s various businesses in the Netherlands.



Peek began his career at ABN AMRO in 1994. He spent most of the following twenty-five years there, apart from a period at Kempen & Co. At ABN AMRO, he held several leadership roles in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate banking. In his last role there, he was responsible for Corporate & Institutional Banking in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.



After leaving ABN AMRO, Peek served as interim CFO of ParkBee, partner and Head of Private Debt at DIF Capital Partners, and partner at ACE Advisory. He also held supervisory board roles in private banking, impact investing and parking technology. In 2024, he returned to banking at BNP Paribas.



Finally, Hugo is 57 years old and lives with his wife. They have two grown-up children.

Right after her closing keynote at the Leaders in Finance AML Event 2026, Rikke-Louise Ørum Petersen, Executive Board Member of AMLA, joins Jeroen Broekema for a short conversation.



She talks about building AMLA, recruiting its team and what the sector can expect from the new authority. They discuss common European rules, room for a risk-based approach and making better use of suspicious transaction reports.



One point she stresses: AMLA can only deliver if national supervisors and financial intelligence units work with it.

They also discuss the human cost of financial exclusion and why closing alerts or filing reports tells us little about the criminal networks disrupted or victims protected.
