Dr. Peryshkov is an associate professor in the University of South Carolina Department of Chemistry. He received an undergraduate degree in Material Science from Moscow State University and earned a Ph.D. degree at Colorado State University. Dr. Peryshkov's current research revolves around the redox chemistry of main group elements and transition metal catalysis.

Dr. Afonin obtained an M.S. in chemistry from Saint Peterburg State University and a Ph.D. in photochemistry from Bowling Green State University. Dr. Afonin is a founding member and vice president of the International Society of RNA Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine. His research interests are centered on the development of functional RNA-based nanomaterials.

Dr. Lilian C. Hsiao, a Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University. Dr. Lilian C. Hsiao research interests are in the areas of soft materials and complex fluids, specifically on the use of shaped colloids and functionalized polymer surfaces. We specialize in using microscopy and rheology to identify the frameworks used to engineer the mechanical properties of soft surfaces
