A/Prof Myles Murphy is a Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist consulting at SportsMed Subiaco in Perth, Western Australia, as well as the Director of the Centre for Injury Prevention and Pain at the University of Notre Dame Australia. A/Prof Murphy completed his PhD in Achilles tendinopathy and his current research focuses on improving the prevention and management of this chronic musculoskeletal condition.
Dr. Ruth Chimenti, PT, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science at the University of Iowa. She completed her PhD in lower extremity biomechanics and then completed postdocs focusing on ultrasound imaging and pain science. Her current research focus on the evaluation and treatment of Achilles tendinopathy and plantar heel pain.

Dr Sweekriti Sharma is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health, a partnership between the University of Sydney and Sydney Local Health District. A public health researcher with expertise in clinical trials and public health approaches to common conditions such as low back pain, she examines how health systems can better support effective, equitable care. Her work aims to strengthen evidence‑based practice and improve population health outcomes.

Rana is a research physiotherapist and co-Director of the Centre for Health, Exercise & Sports Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on clinical trials of non-drug non-surgical treatment strategies for osteoarthritis, in particular exercise, rehabilitation and biomechanical interventions. Nicol van Dyk is a trained physiotherapist and performance health researcher. He was Awarded the Ad Astra Fellowship in the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sport Science in 2024 after four years with the Irish Rugby Football Union as Medical Research Lead. He relocated to Qatar in 2013, while continuing to provide clinical care for athletes he formed part of the Aspetar Injury and Illness Prevention programme at the Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital. In 2018 Nicol completed his PhD in Health Sciences at Ghent University, Belgium titled “Risk factors for hamstring injuries in professional football players.”
Adam Loiacono has over 15 years of experience providing top-tier rehabilitation and performance training to professional & youth athletes. His career includes reaching the NBA Finals with the Phoenix Suns in 2021 and the MLS Cup with the New England Revolution in 2014. Adam is a distinguished member of an elite group of physical therapists, holding the prestigious board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association - a credential achieved by only 10% of physical therapists in the United States.
