Something we return to in the quiet aches… in the disappointments that catch in our throats… in the words we couldn’t say… in the loneliness, the waiting, the not knowing what tomorrow holds.

How do we allow it to be our companion in the dark and our compass in the unknown — gently guiding our hearts, one verse at a time?

We are reflecting on verses 7–21 of Surah Yusuf.

This is more than a story. It is a mirror for your life for the journey of your heart.

How is your heart today?
Where is Allah in it?
How much do you truly trust Him?

When Yusuf was in the well, Allah was there.
When he was betrayed, Allah was there.
When he was sold, Allah was there.

Remember Allah the all seeing all knowing !

Surah Yusuf teaches us:
Not every emotion deserves action.
Patience is strength.
What feels like loss may be preparation.

Maybe your “well” is not the end.
Maybe it is the beginning.

Today, I want to share something simple, yet deeply transformative.

A single phrase.
A quiet remembrance.
A word that has the power to soften the heart and lighten what it carries.

Astaghfirullah — استغفر الله.

It is more than a statement.
It is a return.
A release.
A subtle cleansing of the inner world.

With each repetition, something eases.
The heart feels a little less heavy.
The soul feels a little more at rest.

We say:

استغفر الله للمسلمين والمسلمات
والمؤمنين والمؤمنات
الأحياء منهم والأموات

Seeking forgiveness not only for ourselves, but for all — a beautiful act of mercy and connection.

We say:

استغفر الله عدد ما خلق الله
Seeking forgiveness as vast as creation itself.

And in this gentle rhythm of remembrance, we follow a path loved by Allah, a path walked by the Prophet ﷺ

Sometimes, the smallest words carry the greatest peace.

Astaghfirullah.

A whisper that clears.
A prayer that comforts.
A habit that quietly reshapes the heart.
