  • Reflections
Dear listeners Today I want to share my reflection on verses 77-83 the end of Surah Yaseen thatโ€™s always stayed with me.I love the structure of Godโ€™s reply:It starts with a skeptical question:โ€œWho will bring these bones back to life after theyโ€™ve decayed?โ€ But see how Allah responds. He doesnโ€™t say, โ€œBecause I am God and I command it.โ€He answers with gentleness. He points us back to what we already see โ€” the One who created us the first time, who brings fire from green trees, who created the sky and earth , who breathes life into what looks lifeless. So reflect around you and be mindful within your life and see , Look closer: signs are already all around you.Allah is inviting us to notice reflect think be mindful be grateful! Then comes that simple truth:โ€œWhen He intends a thing, He only says to it, โ€˜Be,โ€™ and it is.โ€ everything responds to Him.And the surah closes with this:โ€œSo glory be to Him in whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned.โ€A reminder that the One who began all things is the same One we return to โ€” the same One holding everything together. So reflect on this even in your daily lives. if something in you feels past saving โ€” a dream, a part of your faith, your hope โ€”remember, the God who brings fire from green trees can bring warmth back to your heart too. Thanks for being in this journey with me ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ˜Œ

  • Sura 26 The Poets.
Dear listeners,Welcome to Sura 26 โ€“ Ash-Shuโ€˜ara, The Poets,a translation of its meanings from Quran.com.As I reflect on this sura, I see lessons for our everyday lives:It reminds us that faith gives us strength when life feels uncertain. It shows us that even prophets faced rejection, yet they stayed patient โ€” and so can we.It teaches that true success isnโ€™t in wealth or power, but in a heart connected to Allah. When fear surrounds us, we remember how Allah opened a way for Musa with trust. So Trust in Allah and He will open a way for you. May these reflections touch your heart, ease your soul, and guide you gently through your day.Salam๐Ÿ’Your life coach Sharifa

  • Sura 27 The Ants.
Dear listeners welcome to Sura27 An-Naml (The Ants,Personal Reflections and life coaching lessons from my readings of this Sura.โ€‹Humility in Leadership (Story of Prophet Sulaymฤn ุนู„ูŠู‡ ุงู„ุณู„ุงู… & the Ants)โ€‹When Sulaymฤn heard the speech of the ant warning its colony, he smiled with gratitude instead of arrogance.โ€‹Lesson: True leadership means listening to even the smallest voices and protecting the weak, not ruling with pride.โ€‹Gratitude as a Path to Blessingโ€‹Sulaymฤn prayed: โ€œMy Lord, inspire me to be thankful for Your favor upon me and my parents.โ€โ€‹Lesson: Gratitude brings humility, keeps blessings safe, and connects the heart to God.โ€‹Wisdom in Communication (The Queen of Sheba)โ€‹When she received Sulaymฤnโ€™s letter, she consulted her people and acted with patience, not haste.โ€‹Lesson: Before reacting, seek counsel, reflect, and choose the path of peace over war.โ€‹Faith Beyond Powerโ€‹Despite her throne and kingdom, the Queen of Sheba humbled herself and accepted the truth of Allah.โ€‹Lesson: Worldly power, wealth, and status mean little without surrender to the Divine.โ€‹Every Creature Has Purposeโ€‹Even the ant is given speech, wisdom, and community.โ€‹Lesson: Nothing in creation is insignificantโ€”every being glorifies Allah in its own way. Respect all life.โ€‹Signs Everywhereโ€‹The surah emphasizes looking at creation as signs of Godโ€™s existence.โ€‹Lesson: If we slow down, we can see divine messages in nature, people, and everyday life.โ€‹The Heart that Submits is the Real Treasureโ€‹In the end, the greatest wealth was not Sulaymฤnโ€™s kingdom or the Queenโ€™s throne, but their submission to Allah.โ€‹Lesson: Spiritual richness outshines material wealth.

  • Sura28 The Story.
Dear listeners,I pray this message reaches you in good health and with a heart full of blessings. May these verses of the Qurโ€™an bring light to your heart and warmth to your soul. I hope they inspire you to pause, reflect, and reevaluate your journey in life.Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways our minds and hearts make sense of the world, of ourselves, and of those around us. At times, life feels overwhelming โ€” and thatโ€™s okay. In those moments, return to the Qurโ€™an. Read or listen to a few verses in Arabic or English, and allow everything else to fade away for a while. Let the rhythm of Allahโ€™s words touch your heart and soul, for truly every part of us โ€” even every cell โ€” testifies to the Oneness of God.As your life coach in this podcast, we will reflect together, using the Qurโ€™an as our guide. Through our daily duโ€˜a, we strengthen one another and ask Allah to fill our hearts with His love and shower us with His blessings, so that we may always remain grateful. Alhamdulillah. Now, let us reflect: What life lessons can we apply from Surah 28, Al-Qasas (The Story)?๐ŸŒฟ Life Lessons from Surah Al-Qasas 1. Allahโ€™s plan is greater than human planning โ€ข The story of Prophet Musa (Moses) shows how he was saved as a baby, raised in Pharaohโ€™s house, and later chosen as a messenger. What seemed dangerous was, in fact, part of Allahโ€™s divine plan. โ€ข Lesson: Even when life looks uncertain, trust Allahโ€™s wisdom. 2. Oppression does not last forever โ€ข Pharaoh ruled with arrogance and oppression, yet his power did not save him. โ€ข Lesson: Injustice may seem powerful, but Allahโ€™s justice always prevails. 3. Humility and gratitude lead to success โ€ข Qarun (Korah) was wealthy but arrogant, boasting that his wealth was his own achievement. His arrogance led to his downfall. โ€ข Lesson: True success is in humility and using blessings to serve others, not to glorify ourselves. 4. Turn to Allah in hardship and ease โ€ข Musa turned to Allah in every stage: as a frightened youth, a refugee, and later as a prophet. โ€ข Lesson: No matter where we are in life โ€” struggling or stable โ€” our refuge is always in Allah. 5. This world is temporary, the Hereafter is lasting โ€ข Allah reminds us that the worldly life is fleeting, while the next life is eternal. โ€ข Lesson: Anchor your heart in what lasts forever, not what fades.โœจ So, dear listeners, as we walk through our own challenges, let us remember the lessons of Surah Al-Qasas: trust in Allahโ€™s plan, remain humble, resist arrogance, and always keep our eyes on the eternal home.

  • Sura 29 The Spider.
Dear listeners We are in sura 29 Surah Al-โ€˜Ankabลซt (The Spider):Reflections on some of its Life Lessons;โ€‹ Life is a test โ€“ hardships are meant to strengthen you in faith.โ€‹ Faith shows in action โ€“ patience, honesty, and good deeds.โ€‹ Trust Allah โ€“ He is the only true support; everything else is fragile like a spiderโ€™s web.โ€‹ The prophet came with this beautiful book of wisdom and light, so hold on to it!โ€‹ Learn from the past โ€“ the prophets stayed firm through struggles.โ€‹ Balance effort with trust in Allah.โ€‹ Be kind to parents โ€“ but never compromise your faith in Allah.
