This is the final episode of Grief Reset!
It has been such a joy to serve this community of listeners and fellow grievers. Thank you for taking the time to listen. I hope something here has encouraged your heart.
The great thing about this platform is that Grief Reset can live on long after I've finished recording. Come back to listen anytime and share an episode with a friend if it may feel supportive to them and what they're going through. And don't forget, the audiobook of "Free Way" is forever here on Season 2 of the podcast!
As for long term health and wellness, I continue to update a list of helpful resources (books, websites, non-profits, etc) on my website at www.rachelhelden.com/resources. Bookmark it for later!
Take care of your heart, dear friend.
With Love,
Rachel

Holiday Grief
As someone said to me recently, "Wishing you a gentle holiday". Today I share my thoughts on the experience of grief during the holidays, and about how we can find ways to hold joy at the same time.
I talk about a few Instagram profiles that inspired me--here are links for those:

Angel Babies
Today is the three year anniversary of my most traumatic pregnancy loss. I share some reflections about the day here. If you or someone you know has been through this kind of loss, I hope it's supportive.
I wrote a guided journal called "Finding Harmony: Emotional Healing After Pregnancy Loss" that you can download for free on my website at www.rachelhelden.com/findingharmony.

Patti Budnik: Sharing Our Stories
Today's guest is Patti Budnik!
Patti is the Perinatal Bereavement Care Manager at Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, an organization very near and dear to my heart. In this episode she speaks about what brought her to Share and the many ways they offer support for those who have experienced this tender kind of loss. October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, so it is fitting that this conversation came to fruition now. I have been so well cared for and loved by everyone at Share and am grateful to be able to pass along all of the resources they have offered me. If you or someone you love has been through pregnancy, infant, or child loss of any kind, reach out to them if you feel led. They helped me come back to life.
Share's website is https://nationalshare.org/, you can find support in your local area, support online, and many other valuable resources.

Linda Katz: Homecoming
Today's guest is Linda Katz!
Linda is a Wise & Wild Woman and friend I've loved since we first met. I'm grateful for her time in this space with us today. Linda is a writer, wild feminine life coach, dream whisperer, Qoya-inspired movement teacher, and artist. She recently released her first book, a gorgeous *must read* that is called Homecoming: One Woman's Story of Dismantling the Inner Cage & Freeing Her Wild Feminine Soul. Her beloved soul creature and friend, Sophie, passed away only a few days later (she is pictured in the art for this episode). Linda speaks about consciously holding these dualities at the same time and how we can experience grief and joy simultaneously. She also teaches us about some of the lessons she imparts in her book, such as how our experiences and even grief can take on the look of seasons in our lives. I'm so excited to share this information with you!
You can get your copy of her beautiful book, Homecoming, via Amazon here!
There is also a free 30-page Homecoming companion guide available here: www.homecomingthebook.com

Check out her website for coaching opportunities and/or to get on her mailing list: www.singingbirdcoaching.com
One book that Linda read on grief that she would HIGHLY recommend is The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller. I have not read this yet, and am adding it to my wishlist! She also mentions a card deck that has been supportive to her journey through the loss of her beloved pet which is available for purchase at The Rainbow Bridge Pet Loss Deck.
